We’re happy to announce that Melanie Williams has been promoted to Creative Director! After nearly six years at Concord Direct, she will be taking on leadership of the creative department, including all creative strategy and solutions being delivered to fundraising clients for both direct mail and digital channels.
In addition to cultivating growth in team members, she’ll work to increase the department’s scale, ensure the evolution of our services, raise consideration of diversity, equity, and inclusion as it pertains to our clients’ programs, and explore emerging approaches to incorporate them for our clients.
So what does the future of the creative department look like? Melanie knows exactly what it takes to deliver high-quality, well-thought strategic solutions, but she is always looking for ways we can improve—from leveraging innovative thinking at key points in the process, to determining what creative tests will reveal the most influential learnings. She also looks forward to working with other members of the strategic services teams to find ways to enhance Concord Direct’s service offerings.
In addition to her new duties, Melanie will continue to lead creative strategy for clients and provide day-to-day oversight while supported by a strong team. When asked about the new role, Melanie said, “I can’t wait to see where we go as a team. We have some incredibly talented and brilliant people, and I’m happy to be at the helm.”
