About This Position:  

Our business continues to grow and we’re looking to add an Account Director to our busy team.  The Account Director is a client-facing account owner, is the key point of contact for their internal project team, and manages execution throughout the entire lifecycle of marketing campaigns to achieve client success. 

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Ownership: Own the responsibility for the success of your accounts by managing and delivering successful marketing campaigns from end-to-end, informed and supported by the work of strategic, creative, and technical team members. 
  • Project Planning: Using the Program/Campaign Brief created with the Strategy Director, segment campaign development into phases including discovery, program brief creation, advertising and email creative design, landing page development, QA, launch, and reporting/analysis of campaign performance. 
  • Project Execution: Within each campaign phase, build out all tasks required to fully execute multi-channel digital campaigns and juggle each task to stay on schedule and under budget. Prioritize and reprioritize tasks regularly to ensure they align with strategic priorities and timelines. 
  • Internal Communication: Keep colleagues up-to-date on workflow, issues, and potential roadblocks, and take initiative in problem-solving with little direction. Offer clearly communicated feedback to internal resources including writers, designers, and developers to ensure they are delivering the best possible product to meet the clients’ needs. 
  • Client Communication: Deliver clear and frequent communication with the client regarding the scope of work, in-progress deliverables, and potential roadblocks. Set and reset client expectations early and often, boldly and kindly addressing the elephant in the room whenever necessary.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Lead client meetings and prepare agendas for meetings focused on discovery, deliverable reviews, status calls, and quarterly strategic planning.  
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement to ensure we are delivering the best possible product and experience to our clients.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities to improve our clients’ business and expand the work our team does to support them.
  • Learning: Demonstrate creative thinking capabilities and an interest in learning and adopting new marketing tactics. Play a role in educating our internal team and our clients about emerging trends.

Experience We’re Looking For:

About This Position:

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our busy Finance Department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the general accounting and financial processes of our company.

We’re looking for you to:

  • Generate financial statements and month-end packages within expected deadlines.
  • Create and apply fiscal controls and procedures within the accounting department.
  • Assist with developing budgets and monitor budgets through monthly budget comparison analysis to actual with explanations.
  • Prepare and audit weekly debt covenant reports in adherence to lender covenants.
  • Be responsible for all financial procedures and records including:
    • Maintenance of checking accounts and invoices.
    • Subsidiary ledgers: cash disbursements, cash receipts, accounts payable, month-end payroll summary, accounts receivable summary, and journal entries for adjustments to the general ledger.
    • Current and capital fund general ledgers, trial balances, financial report, and balance sheets.
    • Preparing monthly reports that include accounts payable reconciliation, accounts receivable reconciliation, cash flow report, and balance sheet audits.

About This Position:

We’re seeking an Ad Operations Specialist to execute digital advertising campaigns for our nonprofit clients. You will build, monitor and optimize digital paid media campaigns based on guiding strategies and benchmarks. You will also report on and interpret key metrics on a regular basis to fuel continuous improvement. By creating highly effective campaigns, you will play a crucial role in helping nonprofits spread awareness, inspire generosity and change the world through their missions. 

You’ll spend your days focused on: 

  • Digital Ad Platforms: Executing digital paid media campaigns in platforms such as Facebook Ad Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn and Programmatic Display.
  • Creative: Providing requirements, specifications and best practices for campaigns to copywriters and designers to develop the necessary ad creative. 
  • Tracking: Generating, implementing and QAing pixels, conversion tags, and UTM tracking codes.
  • QA: Performing quality assurance checks on campaigns to ensure that all placements and creative have been set up correctly and are delivering on pace.
  • Ad Budget: Managing small-to-large paid media budgets through bidding and allocation of spend. 
  • Optimization: Actively monitoring campaign performance, pointing out potential issues, providing optimization recommendations and adjusting placements and ad spend to align with strategic direction and goals.
  • Targeting & Keywords: Researching and advising how to reach target audiences using segmentation. Building keyword lists based on the clients’ needs and objectives. 
  • Planning: Providing insights around expected performance, relevant trends, budget recommendations and other considerations for planning, improvement and optimization. Forecasting expected reach and results. 
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting ad-level issues, working with vendor representatives to resolve any on-platform problems.
  • Measurement: Providing visibility into campaign performance by contributing to recurring lead generation reporting.  
  • Collaboration: Attending meetings and using project management tools to organize and communicate about campaign tasks with the Strategic Director, Copywriters, Designers, and Account Directors.

The Email Producer reports to the Director of Technology. This team member is responsible for producing and sending email messages on our clients’ email platforms with support from project managers, creative staff, and strategists. This role will be paid $45 to $50/hour for approximately 40 hours per month.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Producing email messages on a wide array of client systems (see list below)
  • Testing email messages using Email on Acid and making adjustments to ensure messages are well rendered across desktop and mobile devices/email clients
  • Communicating with the team as part of our well-oiled email production process that we implement using Trello, Slack, and Google Drive
  • Identifying issues that may impact deliverability, inbox placement, and consumer experience
  • Proactively keeping up to date on coding standards and industry developments


Requirements

About This Position:

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to execute digital fundraising and marketing campaigns for our nonprofit clients. You will plan, launch, track and optimize digital paid media campaigns based on the team’s guiding strategies and target benchmarks. You will monitor the performance of digital campaigns and report/interpret key metrics on a regular basis to fuel adjustments and continuous improvement. There will also be some hands-on execution of email campaigns and coordination with contractors in similar roles on an as-needed basis. 

By creating highly effective campaigns, the Digital Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in helping nonprofits spread awareness, inspire generosity and change the world through their missions. This role requires significant initiative, project management skills, highly effective communication skills, and both independence as well as a desire to collaborate for the best results. It is a fast-paced, hands-on, highly tactical job working closely with teams running digital fundraising programs. This position reports to the Director of Digital Services within the Agency Strategic Services division.

We are looking for you to bring knowledge in the following areas:

  • Digital Marketing: You’ve executed successful digital marketing campaigns and understand best practices, preferably with specific experience in fundraising and cultivation.
  • Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads: You’re no stranger to budget management and bid strategy; audience, placement, and keyword management and targeting; and conversion tracking and remarketing.
  • Familiarity navigating and managing Google Marketing Platform: You will be comfortable with Google Ads, Analytics, Data Studio, Optimize, Tag Manager
  • The social media landscape: You’ll bring additional knowledge and awareness of the inner-workings of social media platforms and media service providers (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Spotify, TikTok)
  • General Email Service Provider and CRM experience: You are familiar with Email Service Providers and CRMs (Luminate, Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Engaging Networks, EveryAction, Raiser’s Edge)
  • Web/Email functionality and QC: You’re capable of providing quality assurance review of web and email functionality and rendering (Email on Acid, Litmus, and Browserstack)
  • Bonus points: It’d be great if you bring SMS experience as well (Twilio, Upland)!


You’ll spend your days focused on:

Campaign Planning: Research, Strategic Alignment and Tactical Knowledge

You’ll work to understand and interpret our client’s digital campaign needs to help the team define scopes of work, as well as provide the team with insights around expected performance, relevant trends, budget recommendations and other considerations that will be helpful during campaign planning. You’ll communicate about potential issues and platform changes to appropriate parties, moving forward with agreed-upon solutions. You’ll have the chops to document the plan for paid media campaigns in campaign briefs to ensure clarity, alignment and approval prior to campaign creative development and execution. And, of course, you’ll review overall strategy and creative direction in campaign briefs and provide helpful feedback to various team members.

Campaign Execution and Implementation: 

You’ll create, set up and deploy paid media, email, and SMS campaigns on behalf of our nonprofit clients, under the topline guidance of the Director of Digital Services and our Account Directors. You’ll be comfortable managing small-to-large paid media budgets through bidding and allocation of spend – and Google Grants knowledge is a big plus. You’ll be able to help teams refine the target audiences, taking a deep dive into segmentation and classification where needed. You’ll leverage an understanding of HTML/CSS, template design, and email production as an in-house back up for our contractors. As a true team player, you’ll provide guidance to our creative team on ever-evolving image, copy and CTA requirements, specifications and best practices, as well as capture final ads in screenshots for future reference and results presentations. Finally, you’ll play a large role in developing consistent campaign reporting, ensuring our performance analysis is easily translatable and actionable for key stakeholders and clients.

Continuous Improvement and Optimization

You’ll always be on your game, actively monitoring results, pointing out potential issues, and adjusting placements, rotations, and spend to align with our strategic direction and performance goals. You’ll make tactical recommendations to key internal stakeholders. You’ll develop and foster relationships with digital channel and vendor representatives in order to be the first line of support for the account teams. You’ll ensure our projects and campaigns are codified appropriately across platforms so we can maintain visibility into campaign performance. You’ll advocate for opportunities to improve efficiency in our processes and project management by working with coordinators to keep production moving. We’ll welcome you to contribute ideas during our annual “big picture thinking” innovation process for client work – the Creative Playbook. And as a person in our rapidly-changing field, you’ll get to participate in the iterative development of new digital service offerings by proactively offering ideas and feedback.

Meetings and Communication

You’ll be a key attendee in our digital department meetings to cultivate and deepen your understanding of our clients, digital campaigns, obstacles, and technical requirements, plus keep an eye on capacity and timeframes with contractors and partners. You’ll attend internal client status meetings to confirm timelines of digital campaigns, monitor the schedule, and check in with team members, contractors and partners (in addition to using Trello, Google Drive, Slack, Zoom and email to communicate updates). We’ll also depend on you to complete quality control procedures and coordinate revisions for emails our team produces, with other team members as back up when necessary.

About This Position: 

As we continue to grow our web and digital capabilities for our nonprofit clients, we’re looking for someone to manage, guide and grow Concord Direct’s engineering, production, and QA functions. In this role, the Engineering Manager will lead the team in providing technical solutions and support to the nonprofits seeking our web-based development, digital marketing and fundraising services. This leader will provide hands-on guidance and troubleshooting, and advise client teams as a subject matter expert for solution development best practices and technology platforms and tools.

How You’ll Spend Your Time: 

We envision the person in this role investing 30% of their time in technical execution, 50% managing people and processes, and 20% advising clients.

Primary Focus

In service to our account management team, which is responsible for overall client success and satisfaction:

  • Own the Technical Pipeline (30%): Help your team of engineers define implementation details and troubleshoot their work. You will also spend a significant portion of your time with hands on the keyboard, executing technical solutions that support our clients’ direct response marketing programs. 
  • Team Management & Leadership (50%): Manage the engineering team, including full-time staff and contractors to deliver client projects. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to staff. Recruit and hire additional team members to respond to clients’ needs and evolving scopes of work. Establish a vision and plan to scale our technical and engineering capabilities and capacity as our business grows. 
  • Client Solution Development (20%): Help our clients select the most effective technology to solve their marketing challenges. Propose technical solutions and budgets that solve client challenges in a cost-effective manner. Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to business stakeholders with non-technical audiences, both in presentations and in writing. Articulate the benefits and risks associated with different technical approaches in different functional environments.

     

Secondary Focus

In collaboration with cross-functional teams: 

  • Interaction: Participate in discovery calls with internal and external stakeholders to develop an understanding of client goals and technical requirements. Maintain positive and effective relationships. Coordinating regular engineering and production team meetings.
  • Platform Management: Procure, configure, and maintain a comprehensive and evolving roadmap of commercial marketing technology including web content management, customer relationship management (CRM), measurement, and email platforms for clients.

  • Communication: Be an excellent communicator who is responsive to stakeholders and demonstrates exceptional collaboration and command in solution development.
  • Team Management: Experience directly supervising engineering and production teams across more than 20 website development projects and 50 email campaigns.
  • Project Management: Experience managing the end-to-end tech integration, design, development, quality assurance, and production phases of websites for agencies, nonprofit organizations, and/or other small businesses.
  • Web: Strong understanding of the web technology required to develop and maintain dynamic websites, powered by Content Management Systems, specifically WordPress. 
  • Environments: Strong understanding of LAMP stack environments and front end languages and associated frameworks, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Email: Strong understanding of mass email solutions, email deliverability issues, and email-specific coding requirements. 
  • Security: Comfortable guiding security plans including general defensive development, SSL security, and user credentials.
  • Advertising: Demonstrate an understanding of digital advertising, analytics,content marketing, and measurement.

Location

We consistently provide our clients with an exceptional level of expertise and personal service. We are currently seeking Machine Operators for first and second shift in our Lettershop Department.

Main Responsibilities:

A Machine Operator is an advanced position which requires the technical skills to operate and troubleshoot all equipment as well as the ability to quickly learn new machinery in a lettershop environment.

You should have the ability to set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle and then keep the machines running to complete assigned work. This includes the Transport Bases, Inkjet equipment, Stream Feeder, Match Mailing equipment, Inserter, Strapper, and Shrink Wrap equipment.

You should be able to control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed), feed raw materials in, inspect the machine and test the operation of the machines regularly.

You should also be able to fix issues that might occur during the shift and check the output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.

Additionally, you will keep records of approved and defective units or final products and maintain activity logs for your shift.

Experience running lettershop machinery is a plus (inkjet, inserter, sorter, etc) but not necessary — we’ll train the right candidate!

Candidate Profile:

High school diploma or equivalent required. You must be reliable – attendance is critical for success in this position. You should have basic math and computer knowledge.

About This Position:

We are currently seeking a Second Shift Supervisor for our Lettershop Department. You will be responsible for executing direction and oversight of all aspects of the Lettershop Department and for prioritizing and directing the Imaging and Finishing and Material Handling department personnel reporting on second shift.

We are looking for you to have experience with:

Meeting Production Goals: ensuring that daily production goals are met including, but not limited to, productivity, efficiency, quality control, safety, balanced staffing planning, and shift-reporting.

Managing The Team:

interviewing, hiring, and training associates, assigning and directing individuals and teams, appraising performance frequently, rewarding, counseling and disciplining associates as needed, maintaining staffing agency relationships as well as temporary employee ordering on a daily basis.

You should also:

Know the rules: maintaining an adequate understanding of USPS rules and regulations to ensure our production operations are compliant and consistent with USPS standards, learn and utilize all applicable equipment and software to set-up, run and troubleshoot as needed.
Have the skills: you have a High School Degree and at least 5 years experience in lettershop or mailing-related data processing activities or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of supervisory experience. You should have knowledge of PC’s and accompanying software such as Microsoft Office.
