You’ll spend your days focused on:
 

  • Program Ownership: You’ll guide the successful delivery of digital marketing and fundraising campaigns from end-to-end, guiding strategy informed by data, creative, and technical team members to ensure the client’s statement of work is within budget and aligned with strategic priorities.   
  • Communicating Internally: You’ll be very comfortable keeping colleagues up-to-date on client priorities, program issues, and potential roadblocks as campaigns progress, taking the initiative to problem-solve along the way with little direction. You’ll also be the go-to resource to clearly communicate feedback to internal resources, ensuring they are delivering the best possible product to meet the clients’ needs. 
  • Communicating with Clients: You’ll engage in clear and frequent communication with the client regarding the scope of work, setting and resetting client expectations early and often, taking care to deliver relevant feedback, celebrating the wins, and even sharing information that may be difficult or disappointing.
  • Facilitating Meetings: You’ll kick off and guide client meetings, preparing agendas in advance to stay on track through discovery discussions, deliverable reviews, status calls, and quarterly strategic planning.

About This Position—What You Will Do:

As we continue to grow our web and digital capabilities for our nonprofit clients, we’re looking for someone to play a pivotal role in supporting the Engineering Manager with design, development and business teams in all phases of design and development, from inception to delivery and optimization.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

Primary Focus — Overall client success and satisfaction: 

  • Be a valuable contributor to the ongoing implementation and optimization of our digital web experience.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to discover, design, develop and deliver new features and functionality.
  • Assist with platform and front-end performance optimization.
  • Create new web pages as well as maintain existing pages in both legacy and modern applications
  • Research and evaluate the applicability of emerging technologies and design patterns such as HTML5, CSS3, Website Optimization, Sustainable Web Design, Responsive & Mobile First Design.
  • Research and recommend improvements to existing code base, build tools and delivery systems.
  • Apply creativity and best practices to each project.
  • Routinely test websites for ease of use, speed, security, and other quality factors.
  • Fix any website issues or bugs that arise.
  • Have a willingness to learn and pick up new technologies when requested.

 
Qualifications:

  • College Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4+ years professional front end development experience
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.
  • Advance understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Rails, Bootstrap and others.
  • Experience in building user interfaces from wireframes and designs and be able to deploy applications in a cross-platform/cross-browser environment.
  • Experience in defining, developing and maintaining design systems.

  • Understanding of browser compatibility and screen limitations.

Concord Direct is an innovative, performance driven direct response marketing company that provides winning direct marketing packages to a variety of clients. We consistently provide our clients with an exceptional level of expertise and personal service. We are currently seeking Machine Operators for first and second shift in our Lettershop Department.

Main Responsibilities:

A Machine Operator is an advanced position which requires the technical skills to operate and troubleshoot all equipment as well as the ability to quickly learn new machinery in a lettershop environment.

You should have the ability to set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle and then keep the machines running to complete assigned work. This includes the Transport Bases, Inkjet equipment, Stream Feeder, Match Mailing equipment, Inserter, Strapper, and Shrink Wrap equipment.

You should be able to control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed), feed raw materials in, inspect the machine and test the operation of the machines regularly.

You should also be able to fix issues that might occur during the shift and check the output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.

Additionally, you will keep records of approved and defective units or final products and maintain activity logs for your shift.

Experience running lettershop machinery is a plus (inkjet, inserter, sorter, etc) but not necessary — we’ll train the right candidate!

Candidate Profile:

High school diploma or equivalent required. You must be reliable – attendance is critical for success in this position. You should have basic math and computer knowledge.

We are currently seeking a Second Shift Supervisor for our Lettershop Department. You will be responsible for executing direction and oversight of all aspects of the Lettershop Department and for prioritizing and directing the Imaging and Finishing and Material Handling department personnel reporting on second shift.

We are looking for you to have experience with:

Meeting Production Goals: ensuring that daily production goals are met including, but not limited to, productivity, efficiency, quality control, safety, balanced staffing planning, and shift-reporting.

Managing The Team:

interviewing, hiring, and training associates, assigning and directing individuals and teams, appraising performance frequently, rewarding, counseling and disciplining associates as needed, maintaining staffing agency relationships as well as temporary employee ordering on a daily basis.

You should also:

Know the rules: maintaining an adequate understanding of USPS rules and regulations to ensure our production operations are compliant and consistent with USPS standards, learn and utilize all applicable equipment and software to set-up, run and troubleshoot as needed.
Have the skills: you have a High School Degree and at least 5 years experience in lettershop or mailing-related data processing activities or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of supervisory experience. You should have knowledge of PC’s and accompanying software such as Microsoft Office.

About This Position:

We’re seeking a Senior Digital Project Manager to oversee the completion and launch of our fundraising clients’ digital campaigns which include emails, landing pages/forms, organic social posts, paid media ads, and videos. Working closely with members of multiple teams, you will confirm the availability of resources, create and manage schedules, ensure plans and work align with approved budgets and tech requirements, and meet team and client expectations along the way. You’ll make critical decisions daily to address competing priorities, conflicting information, strategic misalignment, resource management challenges, or technical obstacles, while seeking additional guidance as needed. You’ll also play an important role in developing our company’s best practices and standard procedures for the workflow and documentation of these projects from the ground up.

This fast-paced, solution-oriented role requires top-notch project management skills, technical knowledge specific to ever-evolving digital marketing projects, highly effective communication skills, and both independence as well as an outstanding ability to collaborate with others. This position reports to the Director of Digital Services within the Agency Strategic Services division.

You should be skilled in the following areas:

  • Digital marketing: Fluent knowledge of digital marketing, advertising, technology, and fundraising terminology.
  • Translating the complex into the understandable: Adept at translating technical concepts and nuanced digital metrics, strategies, and requirements into understandable and digestible information for the client and other key collaborators.
  • Project management: Superior project and time management skills with experience implementing project management methodologies (Kanban, Agile) and systems to help teams plan, prioritize and structure work.
  • ESP, CRM, Web, Content Management and Rendering system knowledge: Experience with the connections between ESPs, CRMs (Luminate, Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Engaging Networks, EveryAction, Raiser’s Edge), web, and email functionality/rendering (Email on Acid, Litmus, and Browserstack) platforms.
  • Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You’ll spend your days focused on:

Project Management: You’ll manage the development and launch of our client’s digital campaigns and guide teams to adhere to schedules, budgets, requirements, and expectations. You’ll contribute to campaign briefs with the business requirements for access and system needs, plan the order and priority of work, and translate steps into our project management tool (Trello). You’ll collaborate with account management, creative, paid media, engineering, and data/strategic planning to get updates and feedback on progress. You’ll align resources with projects and prioritize competing demands to keep everything on track while adjusting plans and seeking support when needed.

Technical Advising: With your technical background and knowledge of CRM, ESP and web-related systems, you’ll advise teams on requirements during campaign planning, guide them to explore appropriate options and weigh in on solutions, considerations and potential pitfalls to shape our recommendations to clients. Collaborating with engineering, account management, and other experts, you’ll ensure alignment with each client’s tech platforms, data management, and content management infrastructures. You’ll also manage testing/QC for emails, web pages, and related elements, and your anticipation of technical barriers, user experiences, and problems in advance of issues occurring, as well as troubleshooting throughout campaigns, will be invaluable.

Continuous Improvement: You’ll always be one step ahead, helping us build a super solid foundation to increase our efficiency and scale. Your workflow recommendations and process templates/revisions in Trello will keep improving the way we work every day, in addition to your input on documentation, processes, steps, checklists and beyond. And when we branch into new products and services, you’ll be right there to translate campaigns into project management requirements, positively impacting our end-to-end business process with internal collaborators.

 Are you the one we’re looking for?

You’ll have 3 or more years of experience managing the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, preferably for a nonprofit organization or an agency. We’d prefer you to have a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or other discipline with conveyable knowledge, but will consider people who bring any relevant background to the position.
