Cindy Kilgore Promoted to Senior Vice President

Newly promoted SVP Cindy Kilgore

Ten years, two promotions, and a new level of leadership later: meet Concord Direct’s new Senior Vice President, Cindy Kilgore.

Cindy joined the agency in 2016 as executive creative director, bringing a strategic lens, keen creative eye, and deep commitment to successful outcomes. In 2021, she moved into an executive role as vice president of strategic services with a focus on fostering strong leadership in the Strategic Planning, Creative, and Digital service areas. In both roles, she played a key—and growing—part in making sure the goals of our nonprofit clients translated into strong programs for them through the efforts of our highly collaborative teams.

In her new role as SVP, Cindy is looking ahead to help define where the agency goes from here and what it will take to get there. She’ll work alongside President Tom Cook and CEO Peter Cook, as well as the company’s department and individual leaders, to help shape the strategic direction of the company while ensuring a high quality of service for the nonprofits depending on our teams.

“Our direct mail and creative services have always been core strengths of Concord Direct; what’s different now is how our digital and integrated services across fundraising and marketing have matured alongside these capabilities, as we’ve steadily built an extremely strong team with deep experience from agencies of all kinds. I’m excited to see where that takes us,” Kilgore said.

In her expanded and elevated role, Cindy will focus on strategic planning, organizational alignment, and identifying the best opportunities for long-term growth. As she leans into leadership at this higher level, she’ll continue to empower the agency’s department leaders to operate with the expertise and initiative that have made Concord Direct’s work so effective for clients over the years.

“Our strongest partnerships with clients are the ones where they trust us to help them grow without the risk of getting lost in the shuffle at a bigger agency or quickly outgrowing a smaller one. We bring much-needed flexibility to fit their strengths and needs as they evolve, along with the senior-level attention and innovation they deserve,” Kilgore said. “But strategic direction for the agency only matters if we can operationalize it and deliver seamlessly for clients—having come up through strategy myself, I want our decisions to stay grounded in what our clients need most.”

Tom Cook, President of Concord Direct, has seen that firsthand throughout Cindy’s decade with the agency.

”Cindy has consistently demonstrated her ability to lead her team and deliver our strategic services at the highest level,” he said. “Her promotion is a natural extension of the leadership and contributions she has already brought to the agency, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.”
