A client came to us seeking help with a digital program that plateaued in growth. Without new leads, their online fundraising had remained static for many years. They reached out to Concord Direct for guidance on how to best apply a minimal investment to build a pipeline for attracting and converting new online donors.
With a limited budget, there was no room for paid media investment, so we relied entirely on a $40k/month Google Grant for lead generation that remains in place today.
We developed a series of downloadable lead gen offers relative to their work of supporting missionaries, such as “Your Guide for Praying the Rosary” and “Prayers for Peace.”
Creating a custom welcome series to onboard new leads was a key priority, so we implemented a revised email calendar, added cultivation content, introduced testing strategies, and redesigned Franciscan Mission Associates’ email templates.
Finally, we optimized the client’s donation form to ensure the lowest abandonment rate possible and close the final leak in their conversion funnel.
For the past four years, we have helped the client successfully acquire and convert Google Grant leads to donors, allowing their online program to grow from $94K to $387k.
